Kids Cooking Recipes

Cheesy Crunchers

Kids cooking recipes are perfect for birthday parties. Get the aprons out and let them know they're special.

INGREDIENTS

Peel 2 large russet potatoes
1/2 tsp salt
16 oz Coyote Trail Old Town Salsa
1 cup crushed corn flakes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Set up bowls
Salsa in one
Corn flakes in one

Cut potatoes into small wedges
Sprinkle with salt
Drench in salsa then corn flakes
Lay on a large baking sheet that has cooking spray applied
Top with cheese and cook at 375 for about 30 minutes

Serve hot with extra salsa and ketchup

Serves 4 kids

How about Mac & Cheese?>INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 qt. water
1 tsp salt
2 cups elbow macaroni
2 cups grated monterey jack & cheddar cheese
1/8 cup whole milk
6 oz Coyote Trail Green Chile Sauce

Boil water, add salt and macaroni
Reduce heat, drain well
Add cheese, Green Chile Sauce and milk
Salt & pepper to taste
Mix well, transfer to casserole dish
Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes

Serves 4 kids
